Informationen gemäß DSGVO

  • Prüfungsdurchführung: überwiegende berechtigte Interessen (Art. 6/1/f DSGVO), die in der Erfüllung des Bildungsauftrages und Erreichung der Qualifikationsziele des Studiums durch Nutzung zeitgemäßer Medien zum Ausdruck kommen
  • Identitätsnachweis und Online Prüfungsaufsicht: Erfüllung rechtlicher Verpflichtung (Art. 6/1/c DSGVO iVm § 20 FHStG)

  • Integration von Social Plugins: Auf Moodle sind Social Plugins des sozialen Netzwerks Youtube (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA), enthalten. Es ist möglich, dass über diese Plugins auch personenbezogene Daten über die Besucher:innen der Websites erhoben, an den jeweiligen Dienst über mittelt und mit dem jeweiligen Dienst des Besuchers/der Besucherin verknüpft werden.
  • Speicherfrist: Zwischen 6 Monate ab Bekanntgabe der Beurteilung (§ 13 Abs. 6 und 7 FHStG) bzw. bis zu 80 Jahre betreffend die in § 53 UG genannten Daten, jedenfalls bis zum Ablauf von Verjährungsfristen potentieller Rechtsansprüche oder so lange, wie dies gesetzliche Aufbewahrungspflichten erfordern.
  • Betroffenenrechte: Sie haben das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Widerspruch (nicht gegen die Online-Prüfungsaufsicht und Identitätskontrolle) und Beschwerde, unter den in den entsprechenden Bestimmungen angeführten Bedingungen.

Allgemeines

Die Moodle Plattform wird Lehrenden und MitarbeiterInnen, sowie Studierenden für die Lehre an der Fachhochschule des BFI Wien zur Verfügung gestellt.

Die Plattform wird innerhalb der IT-Abteilung und der E-Learning Abteilung der Fachhochschule betrieben und gewartet.

Für die Authentifizierung in Moodle werden die Accounts des zentralen User Management Systems (Active Directory) der FH verwendet. Die Accountdaten und dazugehörigen personenbezogenen Daten werden im Active Directory für die NutzerInnen der Fachhochschule verwaltet. Die Passwörter werden daher nicht in Moodle gespeichert.

Sie werden in Moodle für die entsprechenden Lehrveranstaltungen/Kurse per FH User Account mit Ihrer Rolle als Lehrende/r oder Studierende/r registriert.


Sind Sie Lehrende/r, werden folgende Datenkategorien gespeichert:

  • Beim Login auf Moodle: Uhrzeit, Datum, Name, alle Aktivitäten auf Moodle, IP-Adresse
  • Lehrunterlagen, die Sie erstellen und hochladen
  • Fotos/Bilder, sofern Sie welche hochladen.


Als Studierende werden in Moodle folgende Datenkategorien gespeichert:

  • Beim Login auf Moodle: Uhrzeit, Datum, Name, alle Aktivitäten auf Moodle, IP-Adresse
  • Unterlagen, die Sie erstellen und hochladen
  • Testergebnisse, falls Sie an Online-Prüfungen teilnehmen
  • Fotos/Bilder, sofern Sie welche hochladen.

  • Purpose: examining of teaching content and achieving teaching success
  • Legal basis:
    • Examination: legitimate interests (Art. 6/1/f GDPR), which are seen in the fulfillment of the educational mandate and the enactment of the qualification by using contemporary media
    • Proof of ID and „online examination supervision“: compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6/1/c GDPR and § 20 FHStG)
  • Data recipients:
    • Moodle
    • Microsoft USA („Teams“ – data transfer to third countries: USA; privacy.microsoft.com)
  • Integration of Social Plug-in: On Moodle, we integrate social plug-ins of the following social networks: Youtube (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043,USA) It is possible that those plug-ins also collect personal data of the visitors of our websites, transmit them to the respective service and link them to the respective service of the visitor.
  • Retention period: Between 6 months after announcement of the results (§ 13 Abs. 6 and 7 FHStG) up to 80 years regarding data referred to in § 53 UG. In any case, we will store the data you provided until expiry of statutory limitation periods for potential legal claims or as long as is required by statutory retention requirements.
  • Rights of persons concerned: you have the right to rectification, right of access, erasure, restriction of processing, to object (not against “online examination supervision” and identity control) and the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, under the conditions specified in the corresponding provisions.

General information

The University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna (UAS BFI Vienna) provides access to the Moodle platform to lecturers, employees and students for teaching and study purposes.

The IT department along with the eLearning department operates and maintains the platform.

Authentication in Moodle uses the accounts of the central user management system (Active Directory) of the UAS BFI Vienna. For all users of UAS BFI Vienna account data along with associated personal data are administered in the active directory. The passwords are therefore not stored in Moodle.

You are registered in Moodle for the respective courses with your UAS BFI Vienna account in your role as lecturer or student.

As lecturer, the following data categories will be stored:

  • At login: time, date, name, all activities in Moodle, IP address
  • Teaching materials that you generate and upload
  • Photos/images, if you upload them

As student, the following data categories will be stored:

  • At login: time, date, name, all activities in Moodle, IP address
  • Documents that you create and upload
  • Test results, if you participate in online exams
  • Photos/images, if you upload them
